The Sky Africa Training Modules

The Sky Africa training is based on the most modern procedures, techniques and data available. All our training is modular based. Each student is provided with a training file comprising our Information Pack, Standard Operating Procedures and Training Modules. This means that prior to commencing any new rating or qualification you will have clear knowledge of each exercise, its objectives and duration. Flight training is tracked via a computer rostering system, with each sortie comprising a pre-flight briefing, the exercise sortie and a debriefing session.

The Training Program

The timing and content of each training course is designed around you. You tell us what modules or ratings you would like to complete, which aircraft you would prefer to train on, when you would like to train and we plan all the rest! We will send you a complete info package including all your training info, aircraft details, total hours and accommodation. Each training package is inclusive of flying, instruction, accommodation with breakfast, medicals and CAA fees

Conversion to the South African Licence

Foreign students who hold a Private Pilots licence will have their licence converted in order to obtain new ratings and qualifications. This is a simple process that is conducted in-house and can be completed in two days. A course will be given on Air Law and rules of the airspace. The conversion involves a flight test and short navigation flight, as well as a theory test on the local Air Law and PPL subjects.
Validations of your licence can be a preferred option in some cases.
